Sometimes a tooth has to go – we make sure that it is as quick and comfortable a procedure as possible. Extractions done with a view to healing and restoration require skill and experience, and complicated cases requiring surgical removal are managed by highly experienced clinicians.
What to expect.
When a tooth is damaged or decayed beyond restoration, meaning it cannot be saved, we ensure removal is efficient and as comfortable as possible. Simple extractions use gentle techniques, and no time need be taken off work, while complex roots or impacted teeth may require surgical extraction from the surrounding jaw bone. We are able to offer most extractions on-site, including cases requiring minor oral surgery.
We monitor healing closely and help plan suitable replacement options such as implants, bridges or dentures for long-term restoration. Children require special care, to ensure that visits are atraumatic, and result in life long positive expectations of visits to dentists.
