Orthodontics
Dentistry.
Clear aligners such as Invisalign allow easy improvement to teeth appearance and alignment at very reasonable fees. Convenient and almost invisible, these are ideal for everyone for over 90% of orthodontic treatments.
What to expect.
Clear aligners (Invisalign is the most famous brand) gently enhance alignment and appearance with convenience and discretion, supporting long-term dental health and confidence. By offering simple use and easy access for cleaning, clear aligners now account for the vast majority of orthodontic treatments worldwide.
A sequence of trays gently guide teeth into improved positions, while more complex cases can be managed with aesthetic fixed braces using white, or clear, brackets and wires. Proper alignment improves bite function and symmetry, reduces wear and food trapping, and makes hygiene easier, smiles more attractive. We offer a variety of brands to allow a range of price points, as well as in-house expertise of an Orthodontic specialist.

What orthodontic treatments do you offer?
We offer a range of orthodontic treatments including Invisalign clear aligners, fixed metal braces, ceramic (tooth-coloured) fixed braces, and lingual braces (fitted to the inside of the teeth). The most suitable option depends on the complexity of your case, your lifestyle, and your preferences. We carry out a full orthodontic assessment and discuss all available options before recommending a treatment plan.
Am I too old for orthodontic treatment?
There is no upper age limit for orthodontic treatment. Adult orthodontics is increasingly common, and modern options such as clear aligners and ceramic braces make treatment far more discreet than traditional metal braces. The key requirement is that your teeth and gums are healthy enough to support the treatment. We see patients of all ages for orthodontic consultations.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Treatment duration depends on how much movement is needed. Mild cases may be completed in as little as 3 to 6 months with a short aligner system. Comprehensive orthodontic treatment, addressing significant crowding, spacing, or bite issues, typically takes 12 to 24 months. Your treatment timeline will be agreed at the start and monitored throughout.
What happens after orthodontic treatment?
Retainers are essential after orthodontic treatment to keep your teeth in their new position. Without retention, teeth will begin to drift back over time. We provide removable retainers, fixed (bonded) retainers on the back of the front teeth, or a combination of both. Retainer wear is typically nightly to begin with, reducing over time as directed by your orthodontist.
